Pray 100
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we enter into Your presence at the close of these 100 days of prayer with hearts full of gratitude. For 100 days, You have called us to seek You, to listen to You, to cry out to You, to contend with You in prayer and intercession.
And today we confess that You have been faithful. You have heard every prayer spoken aloud and every prayer whispered in the heart. You have heard the prayers we prayed with confidence and the prayers we prayed through tears. You have heard our prayers for revival, renewal, healing, reconciliation, salvation, and awakening.
We do not come today merely to say, “The 100 days are finished.” We come to say, “Lord, let the praying continue.” Let these 100 days not be the end of our praying, but the beginning of a deeper life of prayer.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Bread of Life” - Give every HEART a hunger for You that nothing else with satisfy. As You have fed us during these 100 days, make us people who prayerfully carry the living bread of a full life in Christ to others.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Light of the World” - Shine Your light into every HOME where there is the darkness of brokenness, confusion and distance from You. As you have enlightened us during these 100 days, make us people who bring the clarity of Christ to our often dark and chaotic world.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Gate” - Make every CHURCH a place where lost people are entering through You into the pastures of Your salvation, security and acceptance. As you have led us to pray for the lost and wayward during these 100 days, now send us out as the church of Christ to all those for whom You died and rose again.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Good Shepherd” - Transform every REGION to be a place where all people know that they are fully known, loved, and cared for by You and Your people. As you have shown us Your compassion and care to us during these 100 days, transform our region to be a clarion of Christ’s compassion and care for all.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Resurrection and the Life” - AWAKEN THE LOST TO FAITH IN YOU so that all people experience a faith-filled hope for Your very best in this life and in eternity. As You have given us such a living hope during these 100 days, empower us by Your faith-giving Spirit to be harbingers of hope in Christ to the lost.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Way, the Truth and the Life” - READY YOUR CHURCH TO JOIN YOU IN YOUR MISSION to bring Your truth, direction and new life to others in these distracting and confusing times. As You have lovingly led us through these 100 days, by Your Spirit may we as Your church lovingly lead the wayward to truth and life in Christ.
Jesus, You said, “I Am…the Vine, You are the Branches” - SEND WORKERS INTO THE FIELDS RIPE FOR HARVEST so that more and more people may experience in You the life-giving intimacy with God that makes a meaningful life possible. As You have deepened our intimacy with You in these 100 days, may You hear us and all Christ-followers say, “Here am I! Send me! Send me!”
Thank You for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church, and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
