Alpha is here! And we get to pray! 
Pete Greig, the founder of 24-7 Prayer, says he thinks the most important part of Alpha is PRAYER!  He's right!!

 You are invited to join your brothers and sisters in Christ, in praying for Alpha at PoG on Sunday nights.  The praying happens in the Youth Room from 4:30 - 5:30 pm, and then you are invited to stick around and enjoy the Alpha meal with the rest of the pray-ers that night.  There is always someone or some couple who is designated to lead the praying, and they are equipped with prayer resources and prompts.

    If you are not comfortable or familiar with praying out loud, Alpha Prayer is perfect for you!  First, no one is expected or pressured to pray out loud.  Second, if the Holy Spirit leads you to pray aloud, you are in a room with a small group of people who are loving and gracious as you give it a try.
