Jesus,
You alone are worthy of all of my worship, all of my praise all of the glory of my life.
I love You; I worship You, I trust You, I give myself over to You in my heart’s search for life.
I join all my fellow believers in declaring You alone are Life, and You have become my life.
Jesus, when you called lowly fishermen to be your disciples saying, “Follow me” … you promised to ready them for their role in your kingdom with the words, “I will make you fishers of men”
Holy Spirit, help us hear You calling us into Your Presence and promising us transformation as You say in this moment, “(State your name), Follow Me! … I will make you fishers of men, witnesses, disciple-makers.”
Jesus, in Your presence … at Your feet … under Your teaching … filled with Your Spirit … surrendered to Your agenda … listening for Your voice … is the place for us to be and the posture for us to have as You fulfill Your promise to make us into the missionary disciple makers you dream us to be.
Ready each of us in our roles as leaders. We all lead at some level with some level of influence in our family’s, work places, our church, in ministry programs and small groups, in all arenas of life and ministry etc.
Ready us as leaders by growing in us a burning zeal for Your presence, a passion for prayer, a love that learns to listen for Your voice, a rhythm of repentance, a willingness to “wait on the Lord”, absolute conviction that You Jesus are the Lord and Leader of Your body and all the ministry that happens in it and through it.
Jesus,
We need You to get us ready for the revival You are bringing in our day.
We need You to make our plans and design our lives.
We need You to influence our family schedules and design our ministry decisions.
We need You to set the agenda … all the agendas of our lives … Ready us Lord, Ready me Lord!
I now surrender myself and my agenda to You, Jesus, and receive You and Your agenda for me… this day!
Grant me the grace now to act like it!
Thank you for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
