DAY SIXTY-TWO
Heavenly Father, Lord of the Harvest, I come before you today, standing in Your promise of what You do when Your people agree together in unified prayer. That makes this a moment of Your unlimited spiritual power, Your manifested Presence, and Your Spirit-given urgency and expectancy! We remember Your Son, who “when He saw the crowds, was deeply moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” (Matthew 9:36) With hearts stirred, we lift our eyes to the harvest fields of lost and needy people around us—white, ripe and waiting.
Holy Spirit, Fall Afresh Upon Your People. Awaken Your sleeping church. Breathe life into dry bones. Set hearts ablaze with the urgency of eternity. Remove every barrier of distraction. Thwart every destructive assault of the enemy. Break the chains that hold us back from fully surrendering to Your mission. Consume us with a passion for bringing the lost to You. (Pause and pray for this now…)
Lord Jesus, Make Your Church a Sending Church. Let our times in Your Word echo with Your missional purposes. Let our prayer times thunder with intercession for the unreached. Let me and every other believer understand our role in the Great Commission—not as spectators but as active participants. Give us wisdom, courage, boldness, readiness and perseverance because the harvest is Yours! (Pause and pray for this now…)
We Ask for More Harvest Workers for Your Harvest Fields.
Workers in every profession and in every place.
Workers in the church and in the world.
Workers in war-torn regions and in quiet suburbs.
Workers in the inner city and in the rural village.
Workers in the digital spaces and among the unreached tribes.
Anoint them with Your Spirit, follow them with Your signs and wonders, let their words carry Your saving power and let their lives convey Your life-changing presence. (Pause and pray for this now…)
Jesus, You Have Our Yes!
When you call us to listen, we will listen.
When you call us to go, we will go.
When you call us to serve, we will serve.
When you call us to give, we will give.
When you call us to pray, we will contend.
Let the cry of every church, every home, every Christian be “Come, Lord Jesus!” and “Until You come, we will go!” All for the lost, all for the Harvest, all for Your glory, all for Your Kingdom!
Thank you for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
