Father, we love you. Your name is truly hallowed—the name above all names. Thank you for walking with us and giving us your strength each day so we don’t have to go it alone in this life! We give you all the glory for your endless mercy and grace upon our lives, your Church.
Father, today we approach your throne of grace and pray for your Bride—your Church. Lord, draw us back to our first love, our Savior, Jesus. Remind us that we are beautiful in His sight. Let people see you when they see us. Let them see you in our words and actions. As you did in the book of Acts, pour out your Spirit on everyone. Let our lives reflect the power of the Spirit living in us. Comfort us and guide us into abiding with you. We never have to be afraid because our Abba’s arms are there to protect and comfort us.
Father, we call upon the name of Jesus to banish forever the spirits trying to harm your Church. We speak the name of Jesus over spirits of depression, anxiety, fear, lust, greed, discord…(call out any other spirits you see attacking the people in the Church). You promise us in your Word that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, so we are holding you to your promise.
Father, thank you for your patience with us. This life can be so challenging, and so many things (even good things) are vying for our attention. Let us never forsake abiding in you. Apart from you we can do nothing. You are trustworthy. You never leave or forsake us. You never change. You are a GOOD God.
Thank you for this gift of prayer—that we can pray together as your Church, raising our voices in prayer as one. How powerful! How lovely! How GOOD! Thank you, Jesus, for your work in us and through us.
Thank You for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church, and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
