Gracious Father,
We come before You with thankful hearts, praising You for the immeasurable love and victorious Kingdom reign of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who dwells in our hearts through faith. So we ask today that You would renew and renovate our hearts as Jesus makes our hearts His home. For Your Word promises:
“Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous.” –Psalm 118:5
Come, Lord Jesus! We open every door of our hearts to You. We invite You to walk through every room of our hearts with Your cleansing grace and Your Kingdom victory. Let Your victory and reign prevail in every room of our hearts!
Enter the LIVING ROOM of our relationships. Make our relationships places where Your love is clearly seen. Overcome harshness, impatience, criticism and unforgiveness. Let gentleness, humility, kindness, compassion, and sacrificial service triumph among us. Come, Lord Jesus!
Enter the DINING ROOM of our appetites and desires. Reorder our loves. Teach us to hunger and thirst for righteousness. May our greatest delight be to walk in Your victory and to know Christ and to make Him known. Come, Lord Jesus!
Enter the STUDY of our minds. Cleanse our thoughts from doubt, defeat, fear and anxiety. Fill our minds with faith and confidence in You. Set our minds on things that are above. Let the Word of Your Kingdom victory dwell richly within us until it shapes every thought and every decision. Come, Lord Jesus!
Enter the WORKSHOP of our daily labor. May every act of servanthood become a joy-filled act of worship that reflects You and Your love to a broken and hurting world. As we join You in the work You are doing, may You fully manifest Your victory and authority over the evil one. Come, Lord Jesus!
Enter the RECREATION ROOM of our leisure. Teach us to use our time wisely. Let our moments of rest in You refresh and restore us to walk in Your victory in this war-torn world. Come, Lord Jesus!
And Lord Jesus, take Your rightful place in the THRONE ROOM of our hearts. Through the working of Your Holy Spirit, let every room of our hearts reflect Your Kingdom reign and rule. May those who meet us increasingly encounter the living and victorious Christ dwelling within us. Come, Lord Jesus!
Thank You for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church, and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
