Dear Jesus,
As we pray for the region in which we live, we remember your word.
“And today God has reaffirmed that you are dearly held treasure just as he promised, a people entrusted with keeping his commandments, a people set high above all other nations that he’s made, high in praise, fame, and honor: you’re a people holy to God, your God. That’s what he has promised. —Deuteronomy 26:18-19 (The Message)
Thank you, Jesus, that these words of Moses spoken to the children of Israel still apply to the people of this region in 2026. We declare that we’re a people holy to God, a people set apart for God. We pray for the unrestricted movement of the Holy Spirit in this region, and especially in and through people who have influence and leadership in this region. May every mayor, council member, police chief, fire chief, school administrator, CEO, and civic leader call upon the name of the Lord daily. May the churches and pastors/priests of this region work well together, and may they do their part to proclaim the Gospel boldly to every man, woman, and child in this region. May the name of Jesus reign and rule over this region!
“This very day God, your God, commands you to follow these rules and regulations, to live them out with everything you have in you. You’ve renewed your vow today that God is your God, that you’ll live the way he shows you; do what he tells you in the rules, regulations, and commandments; and listen obediently to him. —Deuteronomy 26: 16-17 (The Message)
Jesus, turn the hearts of the people in this region back to you. Fan the flame of faith in those whose hearts have grown cold. Draw people who, for whatever reason, have withdrawn from the body of believers in this region...draw them back to regular worship and fellowship at one of the many churches in the area. Help the people of this region to return to the Word of God and to prayer. Call out from us true obedience to your commands. May a return to righteous living not be the result of a sense of duty, but rather may it be a response to overwhelming love you have for us.
Save our neighborhoods, communities, our towns and cities, and this entire region!
Thank You for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church, and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
