Spirit of God, come!
I believe you hear and answer my prayers. Ready your people at PoG for the move of God that is coming. Not once have you ever stopped moving!
Spirit, ready our hearts!
Give us soft hearts and hard feet, especially in the way we feel and act toward those far from God and/or the Church. Break my heart for what breaks yours!
Spirit, ready our minds!
The prophet Isaiah wrote “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord”. So Lord, please help us align our thinking with yours. As we think and pray about how you might be moving, give us the mind of Christ.
Spirit, ready our plans!
Guide and direct our planning for all areas of ministry: Worship, Alpha, Grow Groups, Serving, Prayer, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry...all of it!
Help us to know where and how you are moving, and then plan accordingly. Who is coming, and how many? How many volunteers do we need, and who will they be?
Help me grow in the BLESS (Begin with prayer, Listen, Eat, Serve, and Story) practices. May these five very practical practices be a part of the natural rhythm of my life.
Holy Spirit, protect us from the evil one...guard us from apathy, lethargy, and indifference. The devil has no power over us when confronted with the truth of the Gospel!
