Pray 100
Father, thank you for your goodness. Your name is the highest. Your name is the greatest. Your name stands above them all. You have the power to do anything with a single word from your lips.
Lord, we call upon you to make us READY as your Church.
First, make us peacemakers. Empower us to seek peace before conflict. Set us free to seek unity in love, not in the need to be right.
Second, make us hospitable. Let us welcome the foreigner, the outsider, the newcomer. Give us a posture of open hands. Give us hearts and actions that communicate that EVERYONE BELONGS in your house. It is a house for all who bear the image of our good and gracious God.
Third, make us truth tellers. Let the words that come out of our mouths be your words. Keep lies from our lips and from the enemy’s whispers in our ears. Our enemy’s language is lies. Let the language we speak over others and over ourselves be truth.
Fourth, make us joyful cup-fillers. Father, through the power of your Spirit alone, let everyone we encounter experience your joy as you fill our cup to overflowing through our abiding in you. Help us to have that time with you, in prayer and in your Word, so that we can fill the cups of the downtrodden that come across our path.
Lastly, make us fearless.
If God is for us, who can be against us? —Romans 8:31
Squash the enemy’s lies that you cannot or will not do what you promised. You say over and over in your Word, “DO NOT BE AFRAID”. No matter what the enemy tries to make our circumstances look like, we trust you as the ultimate authority, and we do not submit to fear!
Thank you, Lord, for making us ready to carry out the mission of your Church. Thank you for reminding us that the work of your Church is for all of us and you have equipped us! We pray this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
Thank You for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church, and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.
Amen
