Pray100: For our HOMES

DAY SEVENTY-NINE

Almighty God of love and grace, we thank You for our homes—for our own families, our church’s families, and the families in our region.
We confess that we have not always sought You with our whole hearts.
We have allowed the noise of this world, the cares of life, and even our own sins to dull our love for You. Forgive us and cleanse us.
Wash our hearts and our households with the blood of Jesus, that we may stand righteous and renewed in Your sight. “For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family on earth derives its name.” (Ephesians 3:14-15)

Heavenly Father, we cry out for revival in our homes.
Revive our hearts where love has grown cold.
Rekindle in us a burning desire for Your Word and a deep devotion to prayer.
Where apathy has taken root, plant zeal for Your kingdom.
Where unforgiveness has lingered, pour out the spirit of reconciliation and peace.
Where fear and anxiety have gotten a foothold, replace them with a vibrant faith that confidently holds You to the promises of Your Word.

Lord Jesus, come and take Your rightful place as the head of our households. Rule in our hearts, our conversations, our decisions, and our daily rhythms. Let our homes be a sanctuary where Your name is honored, where worship is not confined to Sunday, but flows through every day, every meal, every word spoken, and every act of love and service—for we know that “unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

Holy Spirit, breathe new life into us. Fill every room of our homes with Your presence.
Convict us where we have strayed, comfort us where we are wounded, and empower us to walk in love. Teach us to speak words that build up, not tear down; to choose patience over irritation and compassion over selfishness. Break every chain that holds us back—whether bitterness, anger, hidden sin, or weariness of soul — and replace them with freedom, joy, and victory in You.

God of the family, make our homes lighthouses of Your goodness and glory. As You renew our home, let the beauty of Your Spirit ripple outward to touch the lives of others—that many more individuals and families may personally know the saving love of Jesus Christ, who makes all things new.

Thank You for calling me to contend in prayer with You for spiritual renewal in every heart, home, church, and this region. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, awakening the lost to faith, readying Your church to join You in Your mission, and sending workers into the fields ripe for harvest.

Amen
